Job Description
- Assist in the delivery of property and casualty risk management and insurance consulting services to a diverse client base.
- Activities include exposure and claims analysis and tracking; evaluation and selection of appropriate risk treatment methods;insurance policy and contract review; program implementation assistance and monitoring, including selection of broker, insurer, and other service providers.
- Potential for career advancement to Risk Management Consultant as knowledge is gained and demonstrated through on-the-job training.
- Continued education including CPCU and ARM professional designations is required and supported by the firm.
Desired Skills & Experience
- MBA or a bachelor's degree in finance, economics or risk management.
- Experience within a property and casualty insurance company, brokerage or corporate risk management department a plus.
- Ability and willingness to proactively embrace new challenges and learning experiences with creativity and enthusiasm.
- Ability to independently and efficiently manage one’s time and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
- Open communication style and collaborative approach.
- Mature personal presence and self-confidence, conveying professionalism in all aspects of internal and external interactions.
- Strong computer skills, including data analysis.
