Analyst Position


Our East Coast team is looking to hire a new Analyst. Our teams work remotely except for onsite client meetings. We have flexibility regarding the candidate's location provided they work Eastern Time Zone hours.


In this role, you would support a client team leader that serves clients across a variety of industries. Your work would primarily consist of policy reviews, contract reviews including vendor insurance compliance, risk exposure and claim data analysis, and insurance renewal assistance. You would also assist with broker selection and risk assessment processes.


With demonstrated skills and professionalism, progression opportunity exists to become a Consultant, typically managing client accounts yourself.

In order to be successful in this profession you must:

  • be highly skilled at reading and interpreting insurance policies and risk-related sections of contracts.

  • be organized and detail-oriented.

  • enjoy negotiating insurance terms including premium rating details.

  • be extraordinarily attentive and responsive to client needs.

  • be able to effectively explain, orally and in writing, complex risk and insurance issues in a way non-insurance executives can understand.

  • be a self-starter and continuously work to improve your professional skills.

  • be diligent in tracking your time for billing purposes.

  • be able to work in a nearly paperless environment.

  • be able to work independently but still collaborate virtually with work colleagues and third parties.


Other desired skills & experience:

  • Minimum of five years of commercial lines insurance experience. Ideally, you have professional lines (D&O, E&O, Cyber, etc.) expertise with a desire to broaden to all lines of insurance.

  • Completion or progress toward professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, RPLU, or MLIS.

  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. J.D. or M.B.A. also viewed favorably.

  • Project management skills.

  • Analytical skills including data gathering, analysis, and formulation of findings and recommendations.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Quick learner.
