Lee is a veteran risk and insurance management executive. Lee's expertise is in the public sector, education, healthcare and group services practice arena.

Experience

 

Lee has over 40 years experience that includes guidance to C-suite leaders and development of alternative and traditional risk financing entities in high stakes, publicly visible situations. He brings real world experience in strategy and organizational development, building internal staff teams and fostering effective collaboration with external teams of service professionals. His work as an advisor also includes selection and performance assessment of actuarial, investment, claims management, insurance broker, risk control and communication services.   Prior to joining Albert Risk, he was Executive Director of an “A” rated nonprofit risk sharing entity.

 

The insights and solutions that Lee can deliver are derived from his work with hundreds of school districts and public entities in nearly 20 states.  He draws upon knowledge gained in the formation and leadership of self-insurance groups, specialty insurance programs and a national nonprofit research institute. He also calls upon lessons from nearly 18 years in newly created association risk management positions. Early in his career, Lee traveled extensively across the US as a consultant for two publicly traded insurance underwriting entities. As president of a successful managing general agency during a period of market turmoil, he directed a major acquisition and produced consistent improvement in key performance metrics. Lee trained under an early innovator in program underwriting management for local governments and schools.
